Living Through the Loss of Home
"A house is just the structure, but the people inside of it are what make it a home"
For some, home is a place; for others, it’s the people and objects within it. For my mom, Renee, home was her Grandparents. She takes us on a journey through her earliest memories of home, sharing the activities they enjoyed, the sounds and smells that bring her back, and the moment she unknowingly experienced home for the last time.
If you can take one thing away from this clip, it's that time is so precious. You never know when your idea of home can vanish. I was blown away, as the story she told me was one I had never heard before.
I hope you enjoy:)
